Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available at a K-12 school in Hoquiam, WA. This role supports students with speech and language development under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists, contributing to their academic success and munication skills improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Conduct therapy sessions and implement intervention strategies to support speech and language goals.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote munication development.
• Prepare materials and resources for speech therapy activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state of Washington.
• Experience working with children in educational settings, preferably K-12.
• Strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and language development.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work under a supervising speech-language pathologist.
